Treating Drywood Termites

Most of the time, we treat DRYWOOD termites locally using orange oil or Termidor. We locate the termites in the structure and eliminate them by drilling tiny holes into the wood members and inject the termiticide under pressure. The truth about termites is that we will probably not kill every termite on the 1st shot. For this we offer a whole home warranty, and continue to provide service for subsequent years with our annual renewal option.

There is no ONE treatment that will work for all cases. There may even be cases where fumigation is the most preferred method, though they should be few and far between. We are going to recommend the proper treatment for each structure.

Ridding Your Home of Subterranean Termites

For subterranean termites we most often treat with Termidor. Termidor is relatively new technology that not only kills the termites that are infected with it, but also the entire colony. Termidor is a non-repellant pesticide that termites (as well as other insects) do not even realize they are infected. In going back to the colony, the termite is groomed and the Termidor is spread throughout the colony.
