An effective termite treatment in Los Angeles starts off with a thorough termite inspection. Our state licensed inspectors check your home or business inside and out. Any crawl spaces above or below the structure are also completely inspected. During this termite inspection we not only look for evidence of Dry wood, Subterranean Termites and Fungus, but also conducive conditions that may lead to future termite infestations. This includes plumbing leaks, debris in the soil under the structure, or soil that sits too high against the home. After the inspection, All Pest Pros makes recommendations for termite treatment or any necessary repairs.
Our professional pest control specialists will take care of any termite problems you have. All Pest Pros provides a full structure warranty for both Subterranean and Dry wood termites. Your warranty can be renewed annually.
Treatment Methods
Fumigation
A majority of the 10,000 home and business owners we service annually have chosen All Pest Pros because they did not want the highly toxic Tent Fumigation. However, fumigation can be a great tool and there are some instances when it is the only option. The main benefit of fumigation – when done properly – is that it kills all of the Drywood termites in the structure. Many believe that once they’ve fumigated they will not have a termite infestation again for years to come, but that isn’t true. Once the tent is removed and occupancy is allowed, there is no protection left behind. Think about it, do you think the gas differentiates between your attic framing and your kitchen table?
Fumigation will not kill a Subterranean Termite Colony. The preparations for fumigation are countless. When fumigating you are subject to theft, plant and roof damage. Worst case scenario includes explosions while fumigating.
Alternative To Fumigation
All Pest Pros specializes in non-fumigation treatments. All drywood termite infested areas found during inspection are drilled into and pressure injected with a caution labeled termiticide. To help prevent future termite infestations, any exposed unpainted framing is treated with a foam solution which dries onto the wood completely clear. This leaves a residual barrier on the framing.
If you have a raised foundation and subterranean termites are present we treat both sides of the foundation wall and around all support piers. Slab structures require ½ inch holes to be drilled in order to pressure inject the soil.
Our standard treatment is for both drywood and subterranean termites and comes with a full structure warranty. There is no requirement to leave during this treatment. No roof or plant damage. No shutting off your gas. No boarding pets. No packing up food. Our service is completed with little or no inconvenience.
